Getting Started
What is QuickPulls?
QuickPulls is a free web app that lets you browse upcoming comic books from multiple publishers and distributors — all in one place — and build a pre-order list for His & Hers Comics in Greenfield, MA. No account is needed. Just pick your comics, enter your name and email, and submit your pre-order list — the store gets it instantly and emails you a copy.
Do I need to create an account?
Nope! There’s no account to create and no password to remember. When you’re ready to submit your pull list, you’ll just enter your real name and email address so the store knows who the order belongs to. That’s it.
Does it cost anything to use?
The app is completely free. You’re simply telling the store what to order for you. You’ll pay for your comics when you pick them up in person at the shop.
Can the store ship comics to me?
No. QuickPulls is designed for local customers only. His & Hers Comics will order your books but cannot ship them. You’ll need to visit the store at 40 Bank Row, Greenfield, MA to pick up your comics.
Browsing & Selecting Comics
How do I add a comic to my pull list?
Browse the catalog and tap the checkbox on any comic cover to add it to your list. Once added, a quantity field appears in your pull list panel so you can order multiple copies of the same issue if needed. Your running total is tracked in the pull list panel on the right side of the page (or via the floating button on mobile).
Why can’t I add a comic to my pull list?
The pre-order window for this cycle has likely closed. QuickPulls uses a single cutoff date for the entire catalog — when that date passes, the whole catalog closes at once and no new orders can be submitted. If you need to place a late order, contact the store directly at (413) 325-8133 — it may not be too late.
I can’t see the full list of comics anymore. What happened?
A filter is probably still active. Here’s what to check: 1) Clear the search box if you were searching for something. 2) Reset the publisher dropdown to “All Publishers”. 3) Check if the #1s toggle is on — it filters down to first issues only. 4) Check if the Covers Only checkbox is checked — it hides books without cover art. Clear any active filters and the full catalog will reappear.
I see a comic in one of the publisher catalogs but not in the app. Why?
A few possible reasons: 1) It might be a graphic novel, trade paperback, or merchandise rather than a single-issue comic — the app currently covers comic books only. 2) Some publisher catalogs list titles with sale dates too far in the future for the current ordering cycle. If you want something that isn’t showing up, just contact the store directly — call (413) 325-8133 or visit — and they’ll do their best to accommodate you.
Submitting Your Pull List
I’ve picked my comics. Now what?
Click “Submit my Pulls List.” You’ll enter your real name and email address, then check a box confirming you’re asking His & Hers Comics to pre-order these books for you. That’s it — your list goes straight to the store and we’ll email you a copy for your records. You don’t need to email or print anything. (If you’re on a computer, a PDF copy also downloads to your Downloads folder.) After you submit, a “View Your Other Pulls This Month” link appears on the catalog page so you can review everything you’ve ordered this cycle at any time.
If I pre-order a comic, will the store automatically pull future issues?
No. QuickPulls is for pre-ordering specific upcoming issues, not for setting up an ongoing subscription. Each order cycle you’ll select the individual issues you want. If you’d like the store to pull every new issue of a series automatically, visit the shop and ask about setting up a standing pull list — that’s a separate arrangement handled in person.
Timing & Deadlines
When can I place pre-orders?
Pre-orders are open during each order cycle, which typically runs for several weeks and spans parts of two calendar months. The current cutoff date is displayed as a countdown on the catalog page. When the window closes, you’ll see a “Pre-Orders Are Closed” message. The store will announce when a new cycle opens.
What is the FOC date?
FOC stands for “Final Order Cutoff” — the deadline by which retailers must place their orders with distributors. In QuickPulls, the store sets a single cutoff date for the entire ordering cycle. Once that date passes, the whole catalog closes and no new orders are accepted through the app. If you need to place a late order, contact the store at (413) 325-8133 — it may not be too late.
When do comic orders close?
QuickPulls uses a single cutoff date for the entire catalog each cycle. When that date passes, pre-orders close all at once and the catalog is replaced with the “Pre-Orders Are Closed” page. The countdown to the cutoff is visible at the top of the catalog page while the cycle is open. If you miss the deadline, contact the store at (413) 325-8133 — it may not be too late.
Cover Art & Catalog Info
Where is the cover image? Some comics don’t show art.
Some comics don’t have final art ready yet. Cover images come from the distributors (Penguin Random House and Lunar Distribution), and they upload art on their own schedule. Once the art becomes available, it will appear in the app.
Why don’t I see the graphic novel I want to pre-order?
The app focuses on single-issue comic books distributed by Penguin Random House and Lunar Distribution. Graphic novels, trade paperbacks, posters, t-shirts, and other merchandise are not listed. If you’d like to order any of those items, please let the store know directly — they’ll be happy to help.
Your Confirmation Email & PDF Copy
Do I need to email or print my list to the store?
No — not anymore. When you click Submit my Pulls List and check the confirmation box, your list goes straight to the store automatically and we email you a copy for your records. You don’t need to email or print anything. (Earlier order cycles asked you to email the PDF to the store — that step is gone. Just submitting your list through the app is enough.)
I submitted my list — where’s my confirmation?
Check your email. Right after you submit, the store sends a confirmation email listing every book on your pull list — that’s your record, on any device. If you don’t see it within a few minutes, check your spam or promotions folder.

On a computer, a PDF copy of your list also downloads automatically to your Downloads folder (look for a file named YourName followed by today’s date). This is just a convenience copy — you don’t need to do anything with it.

On a phone or tablet, there’s no download — your confirmation email is your copy.
I already submitted my list. Can I add more comics to it?
No problem — just go back to the catalog, pick the additional titles you want, and click Submit my Pulls List again. The store sees all your submissions and combines them automatically, and you’ll get a fresh confirmation email each time. If you accidentally add something you already ordered, the app catches the duplicate before it’s submitted. You can also use the “View Your Other Pulls This Month” link to review everything you’ve already ordered before adding more.

These catalogs are updated monthly. If a link doesn’t work, the new month’s catalog may not be posted yet.
Will my selections be saved if I leave the page?
Yes — your selections are automatically saved in your browser as you check books. If you close the tab or navigate away and come back later on the same browser and device, your picks will be restored right where you left them. You’ll also see a reminder banner in your pull list panel reminding you to tap Submit my Pulls List before you go. Your selections are cleared automatically once you successfully submit your list.
How do I see what I’ve already ordered this cycle?
After you submit your first pull list, a “View Your Other Pulls This Month” link appears at the top of the catalog page. Click it to see a complete, deduplicated list of everything you’ve ordered this cycle across all your submissions. The page shows titles, publisher, and order date — no personal information is displayed. This link stays active until the order cycle resets.
What happens if I order the same comic twice?
When you try to submit, the app checks against everything you’ve already ordered this cycle. Any exact matches are automatically removed from your new submission — you’ll see a note showing which titles were dropped. If you want multiple copies of the same issue, use the quantity field when you first add the book. You can also contact the store to clarify how many copies of the comic you want.
Can I filter the catalog to only show comics with cover art?
Yes. Look for the “Covers Only” checkbox at the top right of each page, just above the publisher banner. Check it to filter out any titles that don’t have cover images yet. The filter stays on as you navigate between pages so you can browse the whole catalog seeing only books with art available. Uncheck it at any time to see all titles again.
Tips & Troubleshooting
The site seems hard to use on my phone. Is that normal?
QuickPulls works on mobile, but it works best on a PC or Mac monitor. The catalog can be large — hundreds of titles — and a bigger screen makes it much easier to browse, compare covers, and build your list. If you can, sit down at a computer when you’re ready to place your order each cycle.
I want to add something to my list that isn’t in the app. Can I?
Absolutely. For anything that isn’t listed in the app, just contact the store directly — call (413) 325-8133 or visit — and mention the titles you’d like. You can also browse the publisher catalog PDFs on the site for reference. The store will do their best to accommodate your request.
Where can I get help with the app?
For technical questions about the app (something not loading, a bug, etc.), email bigshotmr@gmail.com. For questions about your actual comic orders, inventory, or store policies, contact His & Hers Comics directly at (413) 325-8133 or visit the store at 40 Bank Row, Greenfield, MA.
