Everything you need to know about pre-ordering comics at His & Hers Comics
⚠️ App Support: QuickPulls is a free pre-order tool provided as a convenience for local customers. For questions about comic pre-orders, inventory, or store policies, please visit the store or call (413) 325-8133. For technical issues with the app itself, email bigshotmr@gmail.com — please do not direct app questions to the store’s email.
Getting Started
What is QuickPulls?
QuickPulls is a free web app that lets you browse upcoming comic books from multiple publishers and distributors — all in one place — and build a pre-order list for His & Hers Comics in Greenfield, MA. No account is needed. Just pick your comics, enter your name and email, and generate a PDF of your list.
Do I need to create an account?
Nope! There’s no account to create and no password to remember. When you’re ready to submit your pull list, you’ll just enter your real name and email address so the store knows who the order belongs to. That’s it.
Does it cost anything to use?
The app is completely free. You’re simply telling the store what to order for you. You’ll pay for your comics when you pick them up in person at the shop.
Can the store ship comics to me?
No. QuickPulls is designed for local customers only. His & Hers Comics will order your books but cannot ship them. You’ll need to visit the store at 40 Bank Row, Greenfield, MA to pick up your comics.
Browsing & Selecting Comics
How do I add a comic to my pull list?
Browse the catalog and tap the checkbox on any comic cover to add it to your list. Your running total of selected comics is tracked in the pull list panel on the side of the page (or via the floating button on mobile).
Why can’t I add a comic to my pull list?
The final cutoff date (FOC) for that comic has likely passed. You’ll see a message indicating the cutoff has expired. Don’t panic — contact the store directly. They may still be able to place the order for you.
I can’t see the full list of comics anymore. What happened?
The most common reason is that a search filter is still active. Clear the search box or reset the publisher dropdown to “All Publishers” at the top of the page. Once cleared, the full catalog will reappear.
I see a comic in one of the publisher catalogs but not in the app. Why?
A few possible reasons: 1) It might be a graphic novel, trade paperback, or merchandise rather than a single-issue comic — the app currently covers comic books only. 2) Some publisher catalogs list titles with sale dates too far in the future for the current ordering cycle. If you want something that isn’t showing up, just make a note of it when you send your pull list to the store and they’ll do their best to accommodate you.
Submitting Your Pull List
I’ve picked my comics. Now what?
Click “Generate List.” You’ll be asked to enter your real name and email address. Once you submit, a PDF of your pull list is created. You then have two options:
Option 1 — Email it: Send the PDF to hisandherscomicsgreenfield@gmail.com and the store will take it from there. Option 2 — Print it: Print the PDF and bring it to the store in person.
Either way, the store will review your list and let you know if they have any questions.
If I pre-order a comic, will the store automatically pull future issues?
No. QuickPulls is for pre-ordering specific upcoming issues, not for setting up an ongoing subscription. Each month you’ll select the individual issues you want. If you’d like the store to pull every new issue of a series automatically, visit the shop and ask about setting up a standing pull list — that’s a separate arrangement handled in person.
Timing & Deadlines
When can I place pre-orders?
Pre-orders open for a limited window each month, typically early in the month. When the window closes, you’ll see a “Pre-Orders Are Closed” message on the site. Check back at the start of each month to catch the new ordering period.
What is the FOC date?
FOC stands for “Final Order Cutoff” — the deadline by which retailers must place their orders with distributors. Each comic has its own FOC date. The store’s internal cutoff is 5 days before the official FOC to ensure there’s enough time to get all orders placed. Once a comic’s cutoff has passed, it can no longer be added through the app — but contact the store directly, because they may still be able to accommodate your request.
When do comic orders close?
Each comic has its own individual cutoff date based on the distributor’s FOC schedule. When a title’s cutoff passes, you’ll no longer be able to add it to your pull list through the app. But all may not be lost — contact the store if you need to place a late order.
Cover Art & Catalog Info
Where is the cover image? Some comics don’t show art.
Some comics don’t have final art ready yet. Cover images come from the distributors (Penguin Random House, Lunar, Diamond), and they upload art on their own schedule. Once the art becomes available, it will appear in the app.
Why don’t I see the graphic novel I want to pre-order?
The app focuses on single-issue comic books distributed by Penguin Random House, Lunar, or Diamond. Graphic novels, trade paperbacks, posters, t-shirts, and other merchandise are not listed. If you’d like to order any of those items, please let the store know directly — they’ll be happy to help.
Your PDF & Emailing It
I clicked “Submit” — where’s my PDF?
After you submit your list, the PDF is automatically created and downloaded to your computer. Here’s what to expect:
On a Mac (Safari): Safari will download your PDF and typically open it for you automatically. You can also find the file in your Downloads folder — it’ll be named something like YourName2026-03-01.pdf.
On a Mac (Chrome or Firefox): Your PDF will download to your Downloads folder. You may see a small notification at the top or bottom of your browser window confirming the download. Open Finder → Downloads to locate the file.

On iPhone or iPad: Tap the download arrow icon (Safari) or check your notifications. Tap the file to view it.
Can’t find it? Open your Downloads folder and look for a file named YourName followed by today’s date.
On a Mac: If the PDF is already open (in Preview or your browser), go to File → Share → Mail to attach it directly to a new email. Or, open your email app, start a new message to hisandherscomicsgreenfield@gmail.com, click the paperclip/attachment icon, navigate to your Downloads folder, select the PDF, and hit Send.

Don’t overthink it — just get the PDF to the store however works best for you.
I already sent my list. Can I add more comics to it?
You can’t edit a PDF once it’s been generated, but no big deal — just go back to the catalog, pick the additional titles you want, and generate a new list. Send or print both PDFs. The store will combine them on their end. Easy.

These catalogs are updated monthly. If a link doesn’t work, the new month’s catalog may not be posted yet.
Tips & Troubleshooting
The site seems hard to use on my phone. Is that normal?
QuickPulls works on mobile, but it works best on a PC or Mac monitor. The catalog can be large — hundreds of titles — and a bigger screen makes it much easier to browse, compare covers, and build your list. If you can, sit down at a computer when you’re ready to do your monthly picks.
I want to add something to my list that isn’t in the app. Can I?
Absolutely. When you email your pull list PDF to the store, just add a note in the email mentioning any additional titles you’d like. You can also browse the publisher catalog PDFs on the site for reference. The store will do their best to accommodate your request.
